Mrs. Nalini.S gave a speech and spoke about the relationship between brother and sister, which have been followed since the time of Mahabharatham. This Hindu epic tells how Lord Krishna accepted Draupadi as his sister, and he helped her in a tough situation when she was literally humiliated in the court of Duryodhana. Lord Krishna came to rescue her, by wishing for endless cloth to protect her from the eyes of the culprits. With this understanding, girls tied a knot to their brothers and wished to protect them in every circumstance, Boys accepted the wishes of little sisters and were entitled to extra responsibility.This celebration has planted the brotherhood feeling in everyone’s heart.
